Storm Debris Manager goes to work on Hurricane IKE
Storm Debris Manager (SDM) announced today the start of a data management contract to track the debris cleanup from hurricane IKE. “SDM’s unique adaptability was key in deployment phase of this project.” said Jeff Graves, Director of field operations for SDM. “SDM gives us the ability to shift haul ticket structures on the fly, all while maintaining our on-line, virtually real-time data feed to our field and operation partners. This is essential for tracking continuity.”
Storm Debris Manager processes over 1 million yards for Hurricane IKE
SDM announced today that the total cubic yards of debris processed through its Storm Debris Manager software for hurricane IKE has passed the 1 million yard mark. “The 1 million CY mark is a indicator of the overall damage caused by a storm” said Jeff Graves, SDM’s Field Operations Director. “ Hurricane IKE, while smaller than expected in terms of debris, still produced a major amount of debris. Storm Debris Manager has ran flawlessly throughout the cleanup process allowing ground operations to effectively manage this project.
